Primary Care Centers

Primary Care providers are an important part of keeping our community members healthy. Our primary care providers are available when you are sick, but also for routine check-ups and annual wellness exams.

The Importance of Primary Care

A specialist in our Primary Care can assist you with a wide range of health concerns. Even more importantly, the provider gets to know you over the course of several months or years and provides a consistency that benefits long-term health. After a few visits, a primary care provider knows your health issues, which makes it easier to provide personalized care based on your current diagnosis, risk factors, and lifestyle.

An important aspect of Primary Care is working with the same provider for health screenings and management of chronic conditions. Common examples of screenings include depression, obesity, blood pressure, and diabetes. If you are diagnosed with a chronic condition, working with one of our primary care providers to manage it and reduce risks of complications will have a positive impact on your health going forward.

Benefits of WMHS Primary Care Centers

Our providers are able to access your WMHS medical records so you will not have to give a health history during the call, decreasing the time it takes to determine what your next steps.
