WMHS Staff Honored by Western Maryland AHEC

WMHS employees Connie Morris, RN (left), and Theresa Stahl, RD (right), were recently honored at the Western Maryland Area Health Education Center’s 34th annual dinner and awards ceremony at the Cumberland Country Club in June.

Connie, a nurse in health system’s Care Management Department, received the Nurse of the Year Award.  An employee for 25 years, she is the clinical document improvement program (CDIP) specialist and team leader for her department.  

Theresa is a clinical dietitian specialist in the Dietary Department.  She was selected to receive the Dietitian of the Year Award.  Theresa has been an employee since 2007 and specializes in nutrition issues for patients undergoing treatment at WMHS Dialysis Services.  

Both employees are knowledgeable resources and valuable assets to the health system and the community.  Congratulations to Connie and Theresa!
