Nominators described Dr. Amir as an excellent and well-rounded physician, a team player and physician leader of the WMHS Stroke Center. He is valuable asset to the medical staff and has earned this recognition for his hard work with physicians, nurses, EMS and the community to improve the quality of care.
Board-certified in neurology and psychiatry, Dr. Amir joined the medical staff at WMHS in 2005 and began seeing patients in private practice of neurology. He received his medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Pakistan. Dr. Amir completed his internship and residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami in Florida.
