About Us

Western Maryland Medical Supply, LLC, a subsidiary of Western Maryland Health System, Meritus Medical Center, and Garrett Memorial Hospital, is a for-profit company dedicated to providing home care patients/clients with quality healthcare equipment and services.  We specialize in the rental, sale and service of a wide variety of respiratory products, as well as durable medical equipment.

Western Maryland Medical Supply, LLC, prides itself on its staff of highly motivated and carefully trained home care professionals.  They're people who know and understand your needs and respond to them in a personal and friendly manner.  These include respiratory therapists, equipment specialists, customer service representatives, and billing specialists.  Everyone on staff works together as a team to provide the finest patient care available.

WMMMS TeamAs an energetic home care company, we have taken on the challenges of meeting the home medical equipment and service needs of those requiring care in the home.  We service the client base in and around the LaVale, MD area as well as Cumberland, MD and Oakland, MD.  We at Western Maryland Medical Supply, LLC are committed to focusing all our attention on the patient.

Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance are accepted on most items.  All billing is processed by our well-trained Billing Specialists.

Convenient ordering is available with prescription, via phone, fax or mail or just by walking in.  Our Customer Service Representatives are ready to assist you during our regular business hours, 8:30 am -5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Because the health care industry is constantly changing, we routinely offer in-service as a courtesy to our accounts.  Whether it is a basic piece of equipment (i.e. wheelchair, patient lift, etc.) or something more complex, we are available to in-service new staff, give updates or introduce products that are new to the marketplace.

We understand the need for prompt and friendly service.  That's why each delivery is executed in a timely manner and in coordination with the patient's schedule.  Upon delivery, instruction is given to the patient, as well as the caregiver, to ensure comfort, understanding, and compliance in the safe use of their home medical equipment.

Upon delivery, we provide our patients with a 24-hour on call emergency service number. This allows them to "breathe a little easier" should they have any equipment concerns.

It is the intent of the company management and staff to constantly strive to provide the highest quality home healthcare equipment, supplies, and services to all its patients.  Patient rights, responsibilities, dignity, and confidentiality are always the highest priority in the delivery and follow-up process.  Patients always retain the right to clearly voice their dissatisfaction, concern, or content with services rendered without fear of reprisal.
