In addition, she has a hand in evaluating new testing procedures and has done an extremely skillful job of implementing new tests in recent years. Laurie is an exceptional employee with a fantastic attitude and strong work ethic. She is a very conscientious employee and her attention to detail is legendary. Laurie is a great role model for service excellence and she exemplifies the health system's Core Vales in everything she does. Co-workers say she is compassionate, dedicated, caring and very organized. Laurie truly enjoys her job and her enthusiasm for her work is infectious. "I absolutely love being part of the lab and I especially enjoy going out into the health system and seeing all of the different jobs that people have," says Laurie. "There are so many great employees at WMHS that make my job much easier. And it's nice to see how we all play a key role in providing quick service to our patients." Camden, 9, is in the fourth grade; Sydney, 7, is a second grader; and four-year-old Juliet, or Jewels as they call her, will attend preschool in the fall. Away from work, the Wilson's spend a great deal of time together as a family attending their school activities and children's sports, especially basketball, and they look forward to summer vacation in Nags Head, North Carolina. They attend the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Short Gap, where they are involved in bible school and the youth group. Laurie's main hobby is scrap booking, which she enjoys doing with her mother and sister. Congratulations, Laurie! | ||||||||||
