Dr. Alida Podrumar Joins Medical Oncology Practice

Alida Podrumar, M.D. recently joined the Medical Oncology practice of longtime physician Dr. John Mehanna. Board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine, Dr. Podrumar comes to Cumberland from Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, where she recently completed a bone marrow transplant fellowship.

Dr. Porumar completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and did her internal medicine residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York. A native of Romania, Dr. Podrumar received her medical degree from the University of Medicine in Timisoara, Romania, where she also did her residency in internal medicine. She has published several articles in medical journals and is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
