In a recent survey by the Maryland Health Care Commission, all the respondents from the WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center indicated that they would recommend the nursing home to others. This 100 percent recommendation rate exceeds the statewide average of 88 percent.

The WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was one of 224 nursing homes throughout Maryland that participated in the survey of responsible parties for nursing home residents, which are typically a spouse, child, family member or friend. Surveys were mailed in September 2007 to the responsible parties of residents with stays of 90 days or longer. The results reflect the responses that were returned from September to November 2007.

The survey focused on the seven aspects of the residents’ life and care and their overall satisfaction. Kudos to the staff at the WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on their ratings that surpassed the statewide averages in every category.
