2008 Scholarship Applications Now Available

Applications are now available for three scholarships provided by the WMHS Foundation. The Nursing Tuition Support Scholarship is open to current WMHS employees who are pursuing a first degree in nursing. The WMHS Family Scholarship is for current employees and retirees and their immediate family members who are seeking a degree in any health care field. The WMHS Community Scholarship is also open to anyone in the community who is pursuing a career in health care. The Foundation scholarship deadline is April 11, 2008. In addition, the medical staff is offering scholarships to employees enrolled in a health care curriculum. Four $750 scholarships will be awarded for the 2008-2009 school year. The Medical Staff scholarship deadline is April 11, 2008. (Application for Medical Staff Scholarship)  (Agreement Form)

Finally, the WMHS Auxiliary is sponsoring two $1,000 scholarships for the fall 2008 semester. Auxiliary scholarships are open to WMHS employees, retirees, volunteers and their immediate family members who are enrolled in a healthcare curriculum.
