Congratulations to Dr. Roy Chisholm, Surgeon, for being named the recipient of the Physician Service Excellence Award.  Dr. Scott Watkins (right), president of the WMHS Medical Staff, is shown presenting the award to Dr. Chisholm (left) during a recent medical staff meeting. 

A member of the staff since 1995, Dr. Chisholm and is an outstanding physician who is known for his dedication, compassion, generosity and clinical excellence.  Nominators cited him for continually striving to improve the health and well-being of his patients: inspiring others to achieve a higher level of service; for being a role model for colleagues and for exhibiting exemplary Service Excellence.  Dr. Chisholm realizes the importance of family and many voice an appreciation of his quiet prayer before surgery.  He has also donated his medical expertise and services to the local community and through missions.
