Park HIIT Workout

Change up your workout with this 45-minute high-intensity course instructed by health coach, educator and personal trainer Carey Moffatt.  Meet in the day use area beside the Mountain View Pavilion.  All fitness levels welcome.

Open Swim

Need to prepare for an upcoming race?  Looking for a new fitness challenge?  We have just the option for you. Join us on West Beach in the day use area for open swims.  If air and water temperatures do not equal 120 degrees, you must wear a wet/dry suit to participate.  Lifeguards will guide your swim to provide a safe environment.

Wild Womens WednesdayBum Blast Workout

Join instructor Rae for a 45-minute lower body workout.  Lower body workouts burn a lot of calories because the largest muscle groups the body are forced to work.  Well focus on proper form and muscle use during this slower paced but challenging workout.  An optional short core workout circuit will be offered afterward.  Meet near the Hawks Nest concession building in the day use area.  All levels are welcome.

Body Blaster Workout at 5:30 p.m.

Take your cardio fitness to the next level.  This class provides the variety your body needs to see results by combining fun cardio moves with specific muscle conditioning exercise.  Bring a mat and set of dumbbells.  Meet Jen Thomas, health coach, educator and personal trainer by the Hawks Nest concession building in the day use area.

Hula Hoop Dance Sequence Workout at 6:30 p.m.

The hula hoop is a versatile tool for everything from fun to fitness and even dance.  This workshop will focus on rhythm and movement.  Learn a fun hoop dance sequence and unlock a new approach to dance!  Quality handmade hoops from Rhythm Hoop Dance will be available for purchase 15 minutes before the start; loaner hoops will also be available.  Meet near West Beach in the day use area.

Sunset Beach Yoga 7:15 p.m.

De-stress from the day and join Yogafit Instructor Leslee for a peaceful beach yoga practice.  Emphasis will be on poses that help keep you balanced and grounded, all while focusing on the power of your breath.  Meet on West Beach and bring a mat or blanket.

July 28 at 6 p.m.
Peaceful Evening Paddle

Start your weekend with some fun and adventure!  Join naturalist Katelynn for a low-key exploration paddle on Lake Habeeb.  Paddlers will have their choice of boat: canoe, kayak or paddle board. (Available on a first come, first serve basis.)  Meet at the Boat House on North Beach in the day use area.

July 29 at 3 p.m.
Gorgeous Gorge Hike

Hike into the beautiful gorge below the Lake Habeeb spillway to enjoy views of Rocky Gap Run Creek, interesting geology, and cool forest shade.  This is a short but moderate hike; water and close-toed shoes are recommended.  Meet Naturalist Megan at the Touch of Nature parking lot.
