We offer the following services for WMHS employees:

• Computer Based Literature Searches

• Journal Article Requests
• Search Requests

• Book and Journal Loans (for Health System staff/physicians): Loan period is 2 weeks for books and journals

• Interlibrary Loan Services: WMHS Library Services provide interlibrary loan services for all health professionals. Through the National Library of Medicine's DOCLINE system, the library is able to obtain journal articles from all over the country.

• Loansome Doc: Loansome Doc enables PubMed and the NLM Gateway users to order documents found in MEDLINE®. A user can order articles from a list of citations retrieved from PubMed and the NLM Gateway by sending them to a library to request the full-text documents. You must be a health professional and you must register with the library to obtain this service.

We offer the following services for consumers:

• Consumer health books on a variety of medical topics

• Vertical file in each library that contains pamphlets, brochures, magazine/journal articles, etc.

• Internet access is also available to anyone who needs health-related information.

• A television and VCR with headphones for viewing videotapes
