Under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors, the WMHS Foundation raises funds for state-of-the-art equipment, facilities and programs that help WMHS remain a leading provider of medical care. Donations to the WMHS Foundation are transferred directly to WMHS and are tax-deductible, remaining “at home” to serve the needs of the Cumberland/Tri-State area. Most recently, the Foundation has completed a phenomenally successful Capital Campaign supporting the new, state-of-the-art hospital being built on Willowbrook Road in Cumberland, Maryland. Over $10.6 million dollars was raised from this monumental effort through the generosity of 2,000+ donors.

You may support the WMHS Foundation by:
- Designating your gift for a specific project or allowing the Foundation’s Board of Directors to determine the most needed application of your donation.
- Making a donation to memorialize or commemorate an individual, family or group.
- Making a planned or deferred gift to maximize tax advantages and/or protect current or future income.
