Hospice Volunteer Training - Sept 24

Western Maryland Health System’s Hospice Services Team is currently looking for volunteers. Volunteer opportunities include Patient and Family support, Hospice Nursing Home Visitation, Bereavement, Organizational Support, "Hospice Helpers,” and companionship with our well deserving Veterans.
 
To learn more about Hospice in our community and the roles of all the Hospice team members, including volunteers, an orientation session called, "Hospice 101” will be held beginning Monday, September 24, at 12:00 noon.  The class will take place at WMHS Hospice Services, located in the South Cumberland Market Place (previous Ames Plaza) on Industrial Boulevard in Cumberland.

Additional training depends on the volunteer role that you select. Training is free but you must provide your own transportation.
