About Us

Western Maryland Health System's Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (FNRC) was established in 1995 at the site of the former Frostburg hospital.  Initially opening with 33 beds, the facility has undergone a major expansion project.  FNRC now accommodates a total of 88 residents and includes the Haven Unit, a special 22-bed unit for Alzheimer's residents.

The staff at Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is committed to providing the best care possible, always with concern for maintaining each resident's dignity and individuality.  They work hard to make the residents feel at home and to develop close relationships with the residents and their families.  They offer both skilled and intermediate nursing care that meet not only physical, but also emotional and spiritual needs of the residents.

To experience the pleasant, peaceful and quality surroundings at FNRC, visit us anytime.  Tour the facility; talk with residents and staff.  See the commitment, compassion and care that our skilled nursing center provides to the community and the residents.
