Tax Shelter Annuity
A tax sheltered annuity (TSA) is a voluntary program whereby the employee contributes money; pre-tax, to save for retirement. WMHS matches the employee contribution up to 5% of the employee's base pay (base salary = hourly rate x authorized hours). The match is either 35% or 50% of the contribution based on the employee's years of service. Employees with less than 10 years of service will receive $.35 on each dollar contributed up to 5% of their base salary. Employees with 10 years service and over will receive $.50 on each dollar contributed up to 5% of their base salary.
For your convenience, below is a list of our participating vendors. Contact one (or more) of these vendors to discuss their various options. Once you have found a vendor you are comfortable with, contact the vendor to schedule an appointment to complete the necessary paperwork.
