Post-Offer Process

After an applicant has accepted a verbal offer of employment, he/she will be transferred to our Employee Health office located at WMHS Willowbrook Office Complex, 12501 Willowbrook Road, 2nd Floor to make arrangements for the Pre-placement Physical. Please print off the Health History Form, complete the form, and bring it with you to your physical appointment. If you need to reach the Employee Health Office, please call 240-964-8210.

You will be receiving an offer letter with all the details of the employment offer and process. If you have a current e-mail address, we will e-mail you a copy of your offer letter after your verbal acceptance.

After you successfully complete your Pre-placement Physical, you will need to come to the Human Resources Office located at WMHS Willowbrook Office Complex, 12501 Willowbrook Road, 2nd Floor. You will be meeting with one of our Human Resources staff members. We will review and help you complete the employment forms and take your picture for your WMHS nametag. You must bring acceptable documentation to complete your Employment Eligibility Form. Please review the List of Acceptable Documentation required to complete this form. Your social security card must also be provided prior to your start date for payroll purposes.

You will be expected to attend the Human Resources Orientation For New Employees. If you have any questions, please contact us at 240-964-8150.

Orientation

Human Resources Orientation is usually scheduled the second Monday and Tuesday of each month. Your scheduled orientation dates and locations will be included in your offer letter. The first day of orientation, Monday, is starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM. The second day, Tuesday, is starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM.

What is the dress code for HR Orientation?
The dress code for orientation is 'professional dress'. Please no jeans, shorts, tee-shirts, or flip-flop type shoes.

What should I bring with me?
All materials needed for the orientation will be provided to you.

When will the benefits be explained to me?
June Ward, Benefits Manager, is on Tuesday's orientation schedule. She will review the benefits package and the process for enrollment.
