Rodney Bowers

     Congratulations to Rodney Bowers, a maintenance mechanic in the Facilities Department, for being selected as the WMHS Values in Action Award for the month of June. 

      Employed since 2006, Rodney is an outstanding worker who takes a great deal of pride in his job and goes out of his way for his customers.  In fact, some departments say they love to have Rodney around because all you’ve got to do is ask and he fixes all of the mechanical problems in the department.  He is always chipper and eager to help out—ready with a smile and a positive word. 

      Rodney is described by his co-workers as being proactive, caring, kind, considerate and an effective communicator.  According to one nominator, Rodney is what we all should be to each other—very respectful, sincere, self-motivated and genuine.  He is a valuable member of the Facilities team, an ambassador for Service Excellence and a shining example of the WMHS Core Values.
