Emerick Twins are First Babies Delivered at New Hospital

The first delivery at the new Western Maryland Regional Medical Center took place early Sunday morning to parents Stephanie and Matthew Emerick of Cumberland.  Twins Sarah and Daniel Emerick were born at 12:51 a.m. and 12:53 a.m., respectively.  Pictured holding her newborn twins, Daniel and Sarah, is Stephanie Emerick, surrounded by (from left) Dr. Gwyn Harrison, nurse Lori Ishler, and the twins' father, Matthew Emerick.
