Dr. Christopher Haas - New Interventional Cardiologist
Christopher Bryce Haas, D.O., has joined the Western Maryland Health System as an interventional cardiologist.
Before coming to Cumberland, Dr. Haas was on active duty as a Lieutenant Commander in the Medical Corps for the United States Navy. Most recently, he was an interventional cardiologist at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and the Navy Medical Center in San Diego, where he also was the director of the cardiac care unit. His experience includes a six-month tour at the Expeditionary Medical Facility in Kuwait in 2006.
Dr. Haas is a graduate of Arizona State University and received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, where he also did his internship.
Dr. Haas completed a general cardiology fellowship at Naval Medical Center San Diego, and also an interventional cardiology fellowship at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology.
