Dr. Carissa Vea Accepting New Patients at WMHS Primary Care Center

 
Carissa Vea, M.D., has joined the medical staff at the Western Maryland Health System and is seeing patients at the WMHS Primary Care Center in LaVale.  Dr. Vea joins Dr. W. Leon Stertz and nurse practitioner Kathy McKenney at the medical practice, which is located in the LaVale Plaza.  

Most recently, Dr. Vea completed her residency in Family Practice at Penn State University/Good Samaritan Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  A native of the Philippines, Dr. Vea received her medical degree from the University of the East - Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Manila.  She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of the Philippines. 

Dr. Vea is now accepting new patients for primary care in Family Practice at the WMHS Primary Care Center located at 1313 National Highway in LaVale.  For an appointment, please call 240-362-0288.
