Hospital Visiting Hours

WMHS believes that visitors play an important role in the welfare of the patient.  However, a hospital stay is also a time for rest and recuperation, and our visiting policies have been established with this in mind.

Memorial Campus

General Medical/Surgical Units
(Rooms 200 - 226 and 400 - 426)
12:00 noon to 8:30 p.m.

Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
(Rooms 450 - 463)
Visiting hours are 12:00 noon until 8:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Hours are extended from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Visiting by family and friends is encouraged, but visits should be scheduled around physical therapy sessions.

Intensive/Coronary Care Unit
(Rooms 101 - 115)
Thirty minutes at 12:00 noon, 5:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. Visiting is limited to two members of the immediate family with the patient at one time.

High Level Care Unit
(Rooms 120 - 132)
Visiting is permitted from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Maternity and Nursery
(Rooms 351 - 359)
Visiting hours are from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Unlimited visiting privileges for fathers or other designated persons.

Pediatric Unit
(Rooms 251 - 264)
Visiting hours for friends and relatives are from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. However, parents and grandparents may visit anytime.

Braddock Campus

General Medical/Surgical Units
(Rooms 304 - 324 and 423 - 444)
1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

5 North and 5 South
(Rooms 502 - 525 and 526 - 548)
1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

4 South
(Rooms 403 - 406 and 412 - 420)
12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Extended Care Unit
(Rooms 208 - 217)
Unlimited Visiting Privileges

Intensive Care Unit
High Level Care Unit
12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
