New Surgeon Joins WMHS Medical Staff - Dr. Birat Dhungel

Birat Dhungel, M.D., has joined the medical staff at the Western Maryland Health System and will begin seeing patients at the Western Maryland Medical Arts Center, suite 400, in Cumberland.

Dr. Dhungel recently completed his residency and internship in general surgery at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.  He received his medical degree from Jahurul Islam Medical College and Hospital in Bangladesh.  Dr. Dhungel completed his medical and surgical internship training at the National Academy of Medical Sciences’ Bir Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal.
